I founded IronHorse Strategy Group on a simple belief: A successful business should create opportunity and freedom, not become another job that consumes your life.

My leadership experience spans nearly three decades of military service, aerospace engineering, executive management, and business ownership. Throughout my career, I’ve led high-performing teams, managed complex technical programs, improved organizational performance, and helped turn difficult challenges into measurable results.

After retiring from the United States Air Force following nearly 28 years of service, I transitioned into leadership roles in the aerospace and defense industry, including major defense programs. My background includes engineering, program management, operational excellence, quality assurance, and organizational leadership in environments where accountability, precision, and execution are essential.

But my experience goes well beyond the corporate environment.

I’ve built, owned, and operated businesses across multiple industries, including construction, agriculture, equine facilities, professional consulting, and consumer products. I’ve experienced firsthand the challenges of managing employees, controlling costs, making difficult financial decisions, and balancing business growth with personal life.

I don’t just advise business owners. I am one.

Today, through IronHorse Strategy Group, I work with business owners and organizations to strengthen leadership, streamline operations, improve profitability, integrate emerging technologies, and build businesses that can succeed without depending on their owners for every decision.

I’m also pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) at Bellevue University, with research interests focused on entrepreneurship, organizational effectiveness, leadership, and the relationship between business ownership and work-life balance.

My approach combines military discipline, engineering precision, executive-level strategy, and real-world entrepreneurial experience.
